Who we are
In the quiet, moss-draped town of Port Vincent, Louisiana, an old farmer began crafting his own seasoning deep in the heart of his backyard cypress shed. He grew every herb and spice himself, harvesting the flavors of the land with care. Using an old cast iron pot and a timeworn cake blender, he hand-mixed each batch with love and tradition.
By his side was his young grandson—his shadow—who watched and mimicked every move. One day, the farmer looked at the boy and said, “Let me show you how to make this old country seasoning.” And so, the recipe was passed down, not just with instructions, but with stories, laughter, and the soul of Cajun country.
Years later, that grandson carried on the legacy. Inspired by his deep Cajun roots and his family's love of Zydeco music, he named the blend Zydecoaux—a celebration of Louisiana flavor and rhythm. Today, each bottle is packed with bold spices and rich culture, blending the spirit of the bayou with the taste of home.
